Bright Starts 5-in-1 Your Way Ball Play Activity Gym

We’re all about play time around here. As a momma of 2, I’ve learned a thing or two about choosing the best toys to support my little ones as they develop mentally, socially, and physically.  All too often, the amount of time and money I’ve spent on finding the perfect toys for my girls end up being such a waste because they either outgrow them too fast or they only play with them for 15 minutes before moving on to the next gadget.  Luckily, Bright Starts has created this innovative and fun play gym called the Bright Starts 5-in-1 Your Way Ball Play Activity Gym that’ll be sure to win over your newborn or toddler.

The Bright Starts 5-in-1 Your Way Ball Play Pink Activity Gym has so many great features!  Because there are several ways to convert the gym, it’s like getting a whole new setup with each conversion.  Here are just a few different ways we’ve used our activity gym.

I love that I can lay it flat and use it as a mat for all of her toys.  It’s a pretty big size – 48 inches to be exact – so she has plenty of room to sit, play, and roll around on.  There are also inside hooks to attach the canopy for your little one to play with sitting up or laying down. I wanted to note that one side has this fun net to insert the balls (shown below).  This is a personal favorite of Marli’s as she loves filling the activity gym with balls after it’s converted into a ball pit.  Can you tell Matea loves her activity gym??

If your baby is a little younger and you want a more enclosed space during playtime, the walls on the activity mat can easily go up by securing the velcro straps.  This would be perfect if they’re still laying on their back or practicing tummy time!  Notice the different set of attachments to secure the canopy in place once the walls go up.

The Bright Starts 5-in-1 Your Way Ball Play Pink Activity Gym includes so many skill building toys, including a plush toucan, monkey bead chaser, leaf-shaped teethers, a discover me baby safe mirror, crinkle fabrics, rattles, prop pillow, and 35 colorful balls for the ball pit. They even provide this cute bag for the balls, which I love filling up and teaching Matea to take them out.  It’s a fun little exploration activity and keeps her busy for quite a while.  In addition to these toys, it comes with a musical elephant that lights up with 20 minutes of melodies and white noise.

If your baby is always on the move (like mine is), you can partially close off the activity gym so they have freedom to crawl in and out of it while keeping the toys contained.  Matea can never sit still for more than a minute before crawling to another area so this is perfect for her.  She can play with her toys and move in/out of the activity gym with ease.

Lastly, you can always remove the canopy completely, enclose the walls, and convert the activity gym into a ball pit for your little one. How amazingly fun would this be for toddlers!
