For the past 6 years, we’ve hosted Thanksgiving at our house. I guess you could say it’s become a holiday tradition. It’s the one time of year I go all out for my family and I don’t mind one bit. Seeing a house full of love and laughter makes it completely worth the work. From fried turkey to all the fixins, I make sure everyone comes ready to eat! And that they do. I will admit that until last year, the one course I completely missed the ball on were appetizers. I didn’t have anything for my family to snack on before the big meal so this year, I’m definitely bringing my A-game.
I have been perfecting this spinach artichoke dip and guys, it is so dang delicious. It’s cheesy, flavorful, and the perfect hot appetizer to serve at a party. Besides, who doesn’t love a good dip, right? I have a few secrets and tips as to why this spinach artichoke dip will make you coming back for more.
First off, it’s not just any regular dip. It’s an over-baked pull apart bread spinach artichoke dip. Think warm gooey bread baked to perfection alongside the melt-in-your-mouth dip all in one dish. Pretty sure this is what heaven would look like. For the bread, I do a double layer of Brazi Bite’s Garlic Asiago Brazilian Cheese Bread and holy yumminess! Even my girls can’t get enough of it. Their favorite flavor is the 3 Cheese Pizza, but it also comes in Cheddar & Parmesan and Zesty Pepper Jack. I love that it’s gluten-free, soy free, trans fat, and sugar free as well. Plus, it’s the perfect bite size snack to pop in the oven for the family.
Next, I’ve found that sautéing my garlic, artichoke, and spinach for a couple minutes before combining the other ingredients makes a huge difference in the flavor. Of course, make sure to remove as much excess liquid from the spinach and artichoke as possible! Nothing is worst than a runny dip.
Third, I like to quickly melt everything on the skillet before placing it in the oven to bake. It’s just my preference, but I think it helps with the taste. Lastly, grab your favorite bottle of hot sauce and throw in a few dashes. It will definitely turn up a flavor a notch or two.
Is your mouth salivating yet? Mine too! Here is the recipe for this yummy Brazi Bites Pull Apart Bread Spinach Artichoke Dip.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 (11.5 ounce) bags of Brazi Bites Brazilian Cheese Bread (I used the Garlic Asiago flavor)
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp hot sauce
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- With one skillet, brush with melted butter. Grab a bowl that’s about 6 inches wide and place it upside down in the center of the skillet. This will help serve as a layout for the cheese bread. Take the bread and arrange around the rim of the skillet. You can either make 2 rings or stack them as I did. If stacking, only complete 1 layer for now. Add the 2nd layer after you place the dip in the skillet.
- In another skillet over medium heat, sauté garlic for 1 minute, then add the spinach and artichokes for another minute. Next, add the cream cheese, sour cream, a couple dashes of hot sauce, mozzarella cheese, Romano cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the cheese melts, which takes about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove the bowl from the skillet and add the dip. Add the 2nd layer of cheese bread if you’re making it like I did here. Brush the top of the cheese bread with butter and sprinkle the entire dish with more Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, then broil for about 3 minutes (or until the top is slightly brown and dip is bubbly). Enjoy!

Are these still available? I went searching everywhere. I even spotted them for $4.99/bag – not very cheap, but figured it was worth getting for my sister’s Thanksgiving dinner. But to follow through I couldn’t find them.
Is this because Shark Tank said No?
