Happy Happy Tuesday! Anyone happen to catch the Golden Globes the other night? I was flipping through the channels in between chasing Marli around the house and playing peek-a-boo, but when I saw the dress Cate Blanchett wore, I did a double take. Stunning isn’t it? Bravo to Armani for such a beautiful and classy dress and you really can’t go wrong with a fit and flare style. Don’t be fooled by the high collar, this gown had a deep plunging back that made me blush when I saw it. Definitely a show stopper!
With Valentine’s Day a month away, have you started thinking about what you’re going to do/wear? I mean, any occasion is an excuse to plan out your wardrobe right? I would LOVE to wear something LACEY for an evening out to celebrate. This look inspired me to do some retail therapy online and I found these two looks I am currently LOVING. The first look is more elegant and formal; the latter screams fun, flirty, and a reason to have GIRLS NIGHT OUT!
See anything you like? Both of these shoes are from Zara and I can’t get enough of their stuff. This jumpsuit by Asos is awesome too, although I might pair it with a colored belt to cinch in my waist. I have a long torso and offsetting the color pattern would give the outfit a nice clean line break.

Agreed! Every gal needs a bit of lace to complete her wardrobe. I love the first look!

Good morning Linh! Lovely post. I also loved Julie Bowen’s colorblocked gown. Did you see it? Love the pop of color in the 2nd outfit. -Jenna

I sure did! That was my #2 pick. I am going to copy her look and make an outfit of my own for work. Who would have thought velvet red and purple would look so great together.

Oh both great looks! I like them both. Yes, I saw her dress and she looked beautiful. And you are right – the back was VERY low but really pretty.

Hi MJ. I am a sucker for anything backless or a bit revealing like a pretty drape. -Linh
