Before you freak out, yes, it is FRIDAY. But, yesterday was such a crazy busy day that I didn’t have time to write a post or even acknowledge that it was National Sibling Day! Oh em gee. So, we are going to backtrack and pretend it’s Thursday so we can do the dang thing. :)
I am the youngest of 2 children. My brother is 2 years older than me and we have always been pretty close. I’m pretty lucky to have him around, but dang, I wish he lived closer so I could see him more. Still, social media and texting keeps us bonded on top of the occasional dinners he’ll treat me to so we can catch up on life and family ๐
What I LIKE about him: He’s very goal driven and works damn hard. Oh yes, and he’s a great cook!
What I LOVE about him: He’s been a great uncle to Marli. She is so so lucky.
What I WANT for him: A GIRLFRIEND! Haha Sorry bro, I called you out. He really is a great catch, but being married to your career doesn’t help. Still, I think if he found someone who challenges him to be better in all aspects of his life, he would definitely put her first.
What I WISH for him: To be TRULY happy – not by materialistic things, but by the things in life we simply cannot measure – the relationships we build and maintain with our family and God.

Now, let’s take it back to memory lane.
Can you guess which one is me?
Haha! I was OFTEN mistaken as a boy when I was little. I guess riding around my tricycle topless covered in dirt/mud, having a pixie haircut most of my childhood, wearing my brother’s hand-me-downs, and hanging with the boys made me one of them. Now you can see where my tomboy roots stem from…
I love you, bro!!!
