But, here’s our dilemma…we only purchased the table and have never had any chairs for those parties. Ha! So, THIS year for the holidays, I am determined to have chairs and have been scouring the web trying to find the perfect ones for our home. Most of the things in our house are pretty neutral (which I do love) so I am really torn between keeping things clean and minimalistic or adding a pop of color with some beautiful linen or velvet seats.
I am going for a rustic elegant look, but would love a touch of eclectic style as well. I am so digging the mismatch combos. I love the idea of a bench, but I have to be practical and this might not be the best option for seating (space wise). However, I LOVE the idea of having the end chairs be statements chairs. 🙂
Here are looks I am currently coveting.
What do you guys think? Should I stick with the classic neutrals or spruce things up with a pop of color?

Ooh Linh these are all so pretty! But my fave (Diana here), is the look of mix and matching a bit. I died seeing those striped chairs paired with the oversided head table chairs- love looove that look! You’ll have to keep us posted with what you pick! XO
Love these looks! And a table that can seat 12?! Dream! I’m immediately drawn to the first pic and the set with the striped back chairs. Both timeless in my opinion!

i love the idea of having upholstered chairs on one side and a bench on the other! i cant wait til we buy a large house so i can finally get a giant dining room table + chairs! xo jillian – cornflake dreams
The table is absolutely gorgeous!!!! and I don’t think you can go wrong with any choices, but…. I like the chairs in the first photo! Since you are going to have the table short and then extend it, I would probably also have a bench for when it extends. Have fun picking 🙂
Love mixing chairs – i adore that last photo!
