Today, I simply want to reflect and share a few things I have been so incredibly grateful for lately. And, I hope you do the same…
(2) MAKING AN IMPACT: So, there have been so many changes recently – one of them being that I recently resigned from my job. It was a tough decision to make because I enjoyed working there and made some great friends along the way. But, I honestly wondered if my role made an impact at all and/or if I would even be missed. I recently came in to train the new staff member and it was incredibly humbling to hear that my presence was missed at the company. I hope I don’t sound vain – ekk! – because that’s definitely not my intention. I am VERY grateful that God blessed me with this job where I was able to provide value to the company AND build friendships along the way.
(3) DREAM CHASER: This kinda ties into #2. For me, true happiness is doing what I love and doing it with the one(s) I love right beside me. So, I am doing just that…chasing my dreams with starting my own business. EKK! Leaving my job…stepping out my comfort zone…THAT is scary, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Fear holds us back from so many possibilities in our lives and I don’t want to be that person, ya know? I am REALLY grateful for having dreams and goals and the COURAGE to chase them. In the end, I know God’s plan for me (and my family) will be beyond anything I could have ever imagined :)
(4) BEING A MAMA: Being a mother has been the most challenging and MOST rewarding role I have ever played in my life thus far. Sometimes I have days where nothing seems to go right and I feel a little overwhelmed and it’s tough. Little Miss Marli is more independent than ever, and with that, must come a LOT of patience from my end. She tests her limits, listens to commands only 50% of the time now (unless it involves a treat/prize of some sort), and says ‘no’ a lot more now…sometimes just to say it. Still, I am always reminded that God is in control and this little nugget has been the BIGGEST blessing to our family yet. I know He’s just reminding me that I’m human, to trust in Him, and to continue working on myself so I can be a great role model for Marli. I am BEYOND grateful for being able to care for Marli and for her choosing me to be her mama. She is my world and I am SO grateful for having her in my life because SHE teaches me patience and love and compassion for others and reminds me to always be the BEST version of myself.
If you’re going through some rough times right now, just know that it is from our struggles that we build our strengths. It is from our struggles that we learn to appreciate those moments of triumph, however big or small they may be. And lastly, just know that you mean something to someone so ask for help, embrace support, and know that you are not alone, darling. Have a great Hump Day dolls!

That is a very nice post! I found a lot in common with you especially n.2 and n.4…I quit my job, changed country and decided to stay at home for a year at least just to be a mom… I dont know if that is going to be a good decision but now I am so happy with it!

Hey Geo. Thanks for stopping by and the sweet comment. I have to say being a SAHM is the toughest job I’ve had so far…so much respect for ladies who do it with 2+ kids!
