I live in a busy city so I feel like life is always go go go and after a while, you can easily get burned out and overlook the little things, ya know?
(1) The sound of my little girl saying “mama” – I’m not sure how many times a day she says it, but it sure is a LOT, especially when she’s trying to get my attention. I mean can you imagine a teeny tiny little voice saying “mama. mama. mama. (pause) mama. mama….” until I answered her? 99% of the time it’s so darn cute, but the other 1% can be frustrating, especially when I’m trying to do something. And that’s when I have to remind myself that I am so blessed that she knows me by name and calls ON ME for all of her needs/wants because she knows she can count on me. I mean, how lucky am I?
(2) My mom prepping for her stem cell transplant – Yes, you read that right! The wonderful doctors at MD Anderson have been tweaking her treatment so she could start treatment in month or so (depending on her blood cell count levels), but I am beyond excited that we are one step closer to beating this cancer. I know there’s a possibility she may miss Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities this year, but I’d rather her miss 1 year and celebrate 50 more with us. God’s timing is everything and we’ve continued to pray about it daily. I know it will happen when he knows my mom is good and ready for it. Thank you for the continued prayers about this! So touching and moving to read comments/messages for her.
{“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” Romans 12:12}
(3) Support and Humility – Just support all around from my friends, family, and especially strangers about the upcoming launch of my online shop. I’m not one to ask for help or support, but I have reached out to others in regards to supporting my business and the response has been absolutely wonderful and quite humbling. I am so utterly passionate about this brand and for that, I am truly grateful for all of you for helping me live my dream.
