1. What is the meaning behind your blog name?
A Beautiful RAWR stands for Real Amazing Woman Representing and I started this blog as a creative outlet to connect with other ladies and document pieces of my life and my interests. When I was pregnant, I knew my life would change FOREVER after having a baby and it did…for all the right reasons. My #1 goal in life is to set good examples for her through my own actions as well as build her up so she is confident, strong, and feels capable of achieving ANYTHING she sets her mind to.
2.How do you get over writer’s block?
Get out of the house and get inspired! But, if I’m too lazy, I will read other blogs, magazines, and browse Pinterest ๐
3. What is the number one thing on your wish list?
Honestly, I just want to take Marli to see Zoo Lights this year. We missed it last year, but she was also too young to know about it. Her face lights up EVERY SINGLE MORNING when I carry her into our living room and she sees our Christmas tree and that is priceless. She saw Santa Claus last weekend and rode a train and still talks about it EVERY DAY. Cutest thing ever. I know she would LOVE to see the zoo lit up with 2 million lights! Can you say ‘heaven’!?!?!
4. If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
Anywhere that includes a beach and unlimited margaritas! I am in desperate need of a vacation pronto.
5. What inspires you?
So many things, but especially my husband, my mom, and my daughter. For my husband, he has been working so hard this year to further his career and it amazes me how dedicated he is. He loves his career and that is so inspiring to me. For my mother, she fights her battle with cancer on a daily basis with a smile on her face and a heart full of gratitude to God that she is able to live 1 more day. And then there’s Marli who teaches me daily to live a simple life with more smiles, less worries, and appreciation for the small things.
6. What do you love most about blogging?
Connecting with others and seeing how crazy talented some of these women are! Love the community and support we all give each other.
7. If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be and why?
End ALL cancer. The end.
8. Are you a Morning person or a night person?
I am a “whatever time Marli needs me” person. I used to be a night owl, but ever since having a baby, I have to stay super flexible with waking up for early mornings or those random night wakings (which usually only happen when she’s going through some sort of growth spurt.)
9. What is your goal for 2015?
Ahhh – I have so many. First and foremost, to continue working at being a better wife, mother, and Christian. We can ALWAYS make improvements and my family is everything to me so they are my #1 priority. My 2nd main goal is to expand my business. I am so passionate and in love with this brand that my heart could burst! That’s how excited I am about it! ๐ I just want a little piece of my brand to touch every woman in America and make them feel as special as they truly are. And lastly…maybe another baby? That’s definitely in God’s hands, but Marli would love a sibling. I know – I’ve already asked her and she gave me the thumbs up ๐
10. What is the most useful app on your phone?
Unfortunately, I only use my phone to call, text, and check my social media sometimes. I know…I am so not up to date with technology. BUT, if I HAD to pick one, I would say Youtube because Marli gets to watch videos of Mickey Mouse on there. Haha ๐
Ok lovelies! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!

I agree with cancer. It sucks. I lost my mother in law to cancer and it just sucks that CJ will never know his Mom Mom.

I love the name of your blog, its interesting to hear how you came up with it. I’m totally with you on the need for a vacation! And margaritas, especially margaritas! Good luck with expanding your business this year! And as for baby number two, I say go for it! Having a 23 month old and 4 1/2 month old myself its amazing watching them together and and although things get crazy it is seriously double the cuteness. Plus we still don’t sleep well with our toddlers, what’s one more right?! Haha
