The next time you prepare dinner, do yourself a favor and make these as a side dish. OH EM GEE. So delicious! I’ve been meaning to try this when I had roasted brussel sprouts for the first time ever at Dish Society and these did not disappoint!
I LOVE roasting because it is so incredibly easy and tastes amazing with just a few ingredients. Here is the yummy recipe:
– 2 lbs of brussel sprouts, wash and halfed
– 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
– salt & pepper
– 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinaigrette dressing (or balsamic vinegar)
STEP ONE: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut brussel sprouts in half, wash, and drain.
STEP TWO: Drizzle 1 tblspn olive oil on baking sheet. Add brussel sprouts, season with salt, pepper, and remaining olive oil and give it a good toss to incorporate the olive oil.
STEP THREE: Roast for 40 minutes (turning once after 20 minutes). Remove from oven, drizzle with vinaigrette, and give it a good toss. Return to oven for another 5-7 minutes.
STEP FOUR: Remove and allow 5 minutes to cool. Serve alongside your favorite dish. Enjoy!
