OOTD: Tropical Prints

Hi friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Marli and I have been fighting a bug and I think I speak for everyone in Houston when I say we are over this rain.  At least we got some extra cuddles in.  

A couple weeks ago, our family attended dinner at Chama Gaucha for my brother’s going away party.  Have you been to this place?  If you’re a fan of Brazilian Steakhouses, then this is a MUST try.  I have been to the one on Westheimer and Fountainview numerous times and it never disappoints. The service and customer attentiveness is impeccable.

Anyways, onto to today’s outfit of the day post.  I was able to snap a couple quick photos before heading out of what I wore to the dinner party.  I don’t know if it’s because Summer is here or because I just really need a vacation somewhere tropical, but I have been on this tropical print craze lately, especially when it involves leaf prints.  Plus, I LOVE the added pop of color and print to my wardrobe. 

By now, you probably already know Marshalls is my 2nd home which is where I purchased this top. I paired with a great statement necklace, my new favorite modern skinny jeans from LOFT (availabe in a lighter blue and white), and my to go camel color Nine West shoes.
