Floral Print + Lace Kimono Summer Style

Good morning!  Before I jump into today’s post, can I brag on Marli for a minute?  She went to her first soccer practice last Saturday and did amazing! It started off a little rough, but after she warmed up to her coach and new surroundings, she had the best time and has been talking about it nonstop. We’re so happy she had a great experience and can’t wait to watch her play again.  I’m proud of my new promotion as a Soccer Mom  🙂 

​With summer here and the temps steadily rising, I’ve been making it a point to incorporate some lightweight layering pieces to my summer wardrobe and this pretty little kimono from The Mint Julep Boutique is my newest obsession.  This adorable online shop has an incredible collection of cute dresses, tops, bottoms, accessories and so much more.

This is actually my 1st kimono ever!  I never understood what the big deal about it was, but now that I own one, I totally get it.  I absolutely LOVE the ultra easy breezy cut making it perfect for this weather and how it adds a little something to my outfits.  This kimono in particular combines two of my favorite things – blooms and lace.

Leave it to a good floral print and lace combo to make a gal feel feminine and pretty.  My otherwise simple white + white outfit received a major upgrade courtesy of this kimono and I couldn’t be happier with my boho chic look.
