Good morning lovelies! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Now that Matea is almost half a year old, I figured it was about time to start working on her nursery. Better late than never, right? Today, I am FINALLY revealing Matea’s Nursery Room and I love how everything came together.
I really wanted to keep the girlie factor to a minimal so there isn’t a ton of pink. Instead, I went for a really whimsical theme with hints of rustic vintage decor here and there. The focal point of her nursery are the cluster of stars I placed in the corner (which I secretly wish we had in our bedroom too). Aren’t they dreamy?
The LOVE art print is from my friend, Jen of MadybyGirl’s shop. Just adore her and her baby boy Noah! (PS – She is going to be launching a cute clothing line for little babes soon and I cannot wait!) I made Matea’s bunting as a little DIY project and the 4 photos in the frame were actually pages from a beautiful wedding designer’s book.
I placed some of Matea’s favorite storytime books on her shelf along with her shoes, hair bows, and Milestone Cards and we have our reading and cuddling time in this look nook below.
I replaced her old rug with this Emerald Green one from Lorena Canals and love how the color compliments the room. It is so incredibly soft and fairly thick for the girls to roll around on. Plus I love that it’s machine washable (YES! You read that right!) so if any accidents happen on it, I can just throw it in the wash for a good clean. Lorena Canals has SO many styles and prints to choose from and all of them are just darling! I opted for a more neutral style so I can easily incorporate this into the girl’s rooms as they grow older because I know this rug will be sticking around for a looooong time. Make it a lovely Monday, friends!
