 Happy Tuesday lovelies!  I cannot believe I am saying this, but Marli will be starting PK3 in a couple weeks!  Up until this point, she’s been attending MDO (Mother’s Day Out) each day for a few hours, but come mid August, she will be enrolling in a REAL school setting and oh em gee – this mama bird is not ready!  How has my little girl grown up so fast?!?! Any advice/tips for prepping her for her 1st day of school?

Before school starts, we are trying to soak up the last bits of Summer with a few family trips around town and that means planning versatile summer outfits that will take their looks from day to night in a flash.  I’m a huge big fan of finding affordable fashion-forward pieces that are age appropriate for my girls and LOVE the pieces I found at Crazy8.  This great shop carries clothing for babies as little as 6 months and as old as 14 yrs old and has something to fit every style in mind.  The online shop makes it SO easy to select outfits for Marli and Matea and their curated styled outfits are just the best like this Rainforest Wander Theme outfit and Garden Fresh number!  They give me great ideas on how to pair pieces and even mix and match them with other items from the shop.

As you know, Marli LOVES wearing dresses so naturally I got this plaid dress for her and paired it with this striped fedora and summer sandals for her summer day time look.  It’s a more casual look that’s great for the beach or a summer bbq get together.  We kept it simple for Matea with this floral tank set and matching headband which is BEYOND adorable and perfect for day time activities! Did you catch the back detail? Oh so darling, right?

To easily take Marli’s look from day to night, I simply added a cute gold bow headband, this super cute white denim vest, and bracelets that match her plaid dress.  (Sidenote – I may have been a little envious of her cuteness and I teared up a little looking at these photos. She looks so grown up!)

For Matea, I added a lightweight white cardigan to keep her warm at night and give her look a dressier feel for dinner outings. Adding light layers is a great way to transition your look and so easy to do!  I even got her the same sandals as her sister because they were so cute on Marli. Now, can we talk about those thigh rolls for a minute?? What a squish ball! She is going to be 6 months tomorrow guys!!  Can’t wait to see how much she weighs at her check-up.
