Did you hear the great news?? One of my favorite stores of all time just got bigger and better. Earlier this week, Gordmans opened 17 new stores in addition to the 72 locations they already have in the U.S.! Shoppers celebrated with fantastic deals, fun giveaways, and a gift card presented to the 1st 100 customers at each store to shop. Amazing, right? You can check HERE to see if one of their newest stores just opened near you. To show my support, I visited the Rosenberg location to shop for our home. You guys loved our fireplace makeover so much I figured I’d have Gordmans help us update another space in our house. I’ve been wanting to redo our entryway for months now and finally did it! Here’s the full reveal of our small entryway makeover featuring Gordmans.
BEFORE THE MAKEOVER
I wish there was more to show, but this is the sad reality of what our entryway looked like before the makeover. Not exactly warm and inviting, right? To be honest, this space has always been difficult for me to decorate because of how small, narrow, and off-centered the wall is. After some brainstorming, I realized I was going about it all wrong. I didn’t need a huge space to create that welcoming feel – just the right styling pieces. Here’s the full update!
AFTER THE MAKEOVER
So what do you think?? It definitely has more character now doesn’t it? I’ve raved about their home decor section before, but I’ll say it again – Gordmans has an awesome selection of items. I was able to purchase almost everything during my trip and I didn’t break the bank! With their off-price retailer status, Gordmans offers customers exceptional deals on designer and name brand fashion as well as home décor every time you shop.
Here’s the list of all the items I purchased from Gordmans to create this beautiful Fall-inspired entryway:
- Entryway Table: $79.98
- Fall Wreath: $16.98
- Square Mirror: $39.98
- Clock: $12.98
- Family Picture Frame: $9.98
- Pumpkins: Small ($2.99) / Medium ($5.98) / Large ($6.98)
- Thankful Sign: $6.98
- Black Wire Basket: $12.98
- Flannel Pillows (set of 2): $20.98
- 3×5 Area Rug: $22.98
With Fall being our favorite season, I wanted to create a fall-inspired entryway to welcome our friends and family when they visit. I opted for soft neutral tones with a few hints of wood and metal to bring in that rustic cozy feel. The entryway table and mirror served as the main pieces for my vision to come to life. To give my wall some character, I hooked this beautiful fall wreath to the front of the mirror and loved how it turned out. The color scheme went well for keeping things festive without being over the top. And, did I mention it was less than $17? Such a steal!
The wood candle holders and signage above the mirror were old purchases, but if you’re looking for similar pieces, Gordmans definitely has some in stock. I also kept all the table decor pieces fairly neutral, but added this wire basket and flannel print pillow set to complete the look. I love how it compliments all the neutral colors.
All in all, I love how this turned out! I even had money left over to grab this cozy long sleeve for less than $10. I’m telling ya – a trip to Gordmans never disappoints. Hope you guys enjoyed our home entryway makeover. Be sure to visit a Gordmans store near you to shop for all your home, apparel, and accessories needs. Tag me if you find something good! I always love hearing from you. Have a great weekend, guys!
