As a busy working mom of two girls, maintaining a clean house can sometimes feel like a losing battle. Luckily, I created this weekly cleaning schedule when we began updating our home 8 months ago and it’s been a lifesaver! By checking off a few chores each day, I can maintain a tidy and organized home all year round without sacrificing my weekends to do it. The best part? Only needing a few essential products to get the job done. The Art of Green® Lavender Eucalyptus Multisurface Spray Cleaner, Cleaning Wipes, and Concentrated Multisurface Cleaner from H-E-B have been my go-to cleaning products for keeping my house spotless.
The order of my weekly cleaning schedule printable is based on what works best for our schedule. There is some overlap but for the most part, I break down each day into rooms/areas of the house. For instance, Monday is mostly a cleaning day for major appliances so I tackle the kitchen and laundry room here. That’s where my Art of Green® Lavender Eucalyptus Multisurface Spray Cleaner comes in handy. Out of the three products I use, I’d say I use this one the most.
I love that Art of Green® products won’t irritate my sensitive skin. They’ve been dermatologically tested as safe for this skin type; contain no harsh chemicals, parabens, glycol solvents, artificial colors or phthalates; and even have natural essential oils. I appreciate how environmentally conscious they are, too. Each container made is recyclable, made from biodegradable formulas, and has never been tested on animals.
The girls tidy up their play area every evening, but I do schedule a deep clean leading into the weekend and right after (on Mondays and Thursdays). Because we also have pets, sweeping and vacuuming high traffic areas is a must several times a week. This includes places like the kitchen floor, hallway, and laundry room.
I tend to do my grocery shopping on Fridays to avoid the weekend crowd. It’s the best thing ever! I’ve labeled Friday as my “food” day which is when I clean out the refrigerator, tidy up the pantry, and tend to the dining as well as breakfast area. I love using the Art of Green® Cleaning Wipes, which are great for quick wipe downs in the fridge.
Speaking of the weekend, this is also when our dogs get a bath, we do some meal prepping for the week, and our house gets a deep floor cleaning using the Art of Green® Concentrated Multisurface Cleaner. It makes the house smell great and cuts through all the dirt and grime. The weekly cleaning schedule also includes some daily and monthly tasks. I’d love to hear if you included others not on the list.
Make sure to download the free weekly cleaning schedule printable to stay organized with your cleaning. Trust me, it’s a game changer! And, the next time you’re at H-E-B, pick up your favorite Art of Green® cleaning products and let me know if you love it as much as I do!
