If your kid is playing sports this season, chances are you’ll be on snack patrol one of these weekends. My best advice is to be prepared and treat them well! Marli just started soccer, and I still can’t believe she’s entering her 4th year. She has come such a long way from that timid 2 1/2 year old girl. It’s been a joy watching her grow with a sport she enjoys so much.
To kickstart the season off on a good note, we decided to create soccer goodie bags for her teammates—packed with their favorite snacks, drinks, and a little surprise for each of them to enjoy. The Randalls mobile app made shopping such a breeze, and I took full advantage of their Stock Up Sale. I even had money left over to brings snacks and drinks for the parents, too. Today, I’m sharing which snacks I purchased from the sale and how I’m using them to pump the team up.

HYDRATION IS KEY
I spared no expense when it came to purchasing our favorite drinks during the Stock Up Sale. Outdoor sports at this time of the year are downright brutal, so I wanted to make sure there was plenty to go around. Plus, these deals were too good to pass up. At the very least, I knew our family would drink them if there were any leftovers from the game.
These mini Nestle Mountain Spring Water Bottles come in a pack of 24 and are the perfect size for the goodie bags. I also purchased a case of Perrier Sparkling Water, a few bottles of Powerade Sports Drink Fruit Punch, and a 64 oz. bottle of Gold Peak Ice Tea to include in our beverage cooler. For some added inspiration, I created these cute signs to give them some encouragement during their water breaks.
Powerade Drink – Power Up & Go Get ‘Em!
Perrier Sparkling Water – Keep Sparkling Ladies!
Gold Peak Tea – Tea-rrific Job Out There!
SNACK ATTACK
Nothing works up a kid’s appetite like 40 minutes of game time, so when hunger strikes—I’ve got them covered! These Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers Cheddar, SkinnyPop Popcorn, and Frigo Cheese Heads String Cheese were three other items I picked up during the sale for their goodie bags. I packed them in snack-sized bags with these adorable notes attached. Win or lose, it’s a good reminder to let them know we’re proud of their hard work.
Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers Cheddar – Go For the Gold(fish)!
SkinnyPop Popcorn – Popping In to Say you Rock!
This savory trio makes for a perfect post-game combo. If you’re looking for a sweet treat, feel free to add some fresh fruit to the mix. And for the parents, I grabbed a bag of these Tostitos Tortilla Chips White Corn Scoops to munch on during the game.
THE FINISHING TOUCHES
Lastly, I added a few extra “treats” for the kids and they were a hit! I included a pair of sunglasses, stickers, and a miniature soccer ball for them to play with at home. These Way to ‘Goal’ Team stickers were so easy to make and such a fun way to label each bag.
If you haven’t been called for snack duty yet, now might be a good time to start planning. From now until October 15th, visit your local Randalls and take advantage of their Stock Up Sale. You’ll find so many great products for the team and family that you might to need to make a second trip!
*The products mentioned in this post were purchased at my local Randalls during their Stock Up Sale. However, you can also shop the Stock Up Sale at Albertsons, Safeway, ACME Markets, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, Shaw’s Star Market, and Carrs/Safeway from October 2nd-October 15th.
