“This is an #AD from Hasbro.”
For as long as I can remember, I grew up loving every single Disney movie I saw on TV especially if it included a Disney Princess. My favorite princess by far was definitely Ariel. I swear I must have watched The Little Mermaid at least 100 times when it became available at the movie store. Bless my aunt for renting it every single weekend for almost a year! Now that I have girls of my own, it’s so amazing so see how much they love these Disney Princess characters as much as me.
Earlier this year, Hasbro updated their classic line of Disney Princess dolls and my girls were ecstatic to get their hands on some of their favorite ones. There are 11 total to collect and each princess comes with her own 2-piece sparkling outfit. The Princess collection includes: Ariel, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Tiana, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, and Merida.
Hasbro also included a cute DIY crown for Matea to decorate and a custom Disney Princess notepad for Marli to illustrate her own story in this beautiful assortment box. We have always loved playing dress up and make believe so this was a perfect way to bring their imagination to life. Can you guess which Disney Princesses are their favorite? Keep reading to find out! *crown and coloring book not included or sold by Hasbro.
Marli picked Mulan and Belle as her favorite Disney Princess Characters because she can relate to them on so many levels. For Mulan, she sees a strong, brave girl who never gives up even in the face of adversity. Although they expose Mulan for being a girl during her training, it only showed Marli that girls can do anything boys can do (and sometimes even better)! In many ways, she relates this to soccer and sports in general. Mulan also taught Marli about the importance of honor and family. For Belle, Marli loves that they both have a passion for reading. She also appreciates how Belle reminds her to be kind to others even when they aren’t the nicest to her.
Matea also picked Mulan as one of her favorite Disney Princess Characters because she said Mulan looks like her. So sweet! Her other favorite Disney Princess is Cinderella because she teaches her about kindness and courage. If you know Matea, this shouldn’t come as a surprise because this little girl has a heart of gold. She is the warmest, friendliest, and most thoughtful 4 year old ever. And, of course let’s not forget about the beautiful gown which is another reason Matea loves her so much. I can’t say I disagree with her on that. I’d love to magically have sparkling dresses appear out of nowhere, too.
Regardless of which Disney Princess character your kid chooses, each one has a unique voice and story to tell. And, that’s the beauty of it. This classic line allows your little ones the ability to create their own fairytales in new and exciting ways. Parents – Shop the Disney Princess Line HERE and collect them all!
