Good morning! It’s the top of the week which means it’s time to crush some goals. If you can’t already tell, I live for Mondays. There’s nothing more satisfying than starting off the week tackling projects, checking things off my list, and of course, getting back in the gym. To make sure my Mondays are as productive as possible, there’s 3 things I always do.
HOW TO CRUSH YOUR GOALS: 3 THINGS TO DO EVERY MONDAY
First, have a game plan. Whether it’s running errands for our family, creating content for my job, or doing chores, making a to-do list for the week helps me break down my workload each day so I can stay super organized.
Second is getting in some “me” time. Weekends are always fun, but come Sunday night, I’m practically counting down the hours before my girls head back to school. As soon as I drop them off, that’s when the fun begins. I know myself well enough to say that I have to workout in the morning or it’ll never get done. Like you, the struggle to get going especially on a Monday is definitely real. But, once I get going, it always puts me in the best mood. And that’s a great way to start the week.
Sometimes, I may hit the weights. Other times, it might be going for a long run. This adidas look is perfect for both. These Ultraboost 4.0 DNA shoes are a staple in my closet for all my gym workouts and runs. I love these shoes because they provide exceptional support, comfort and ventilation with their super soft knit material. Plus, it’s super cool that they’re are made with recycled materials. They run TTS. My adidas Cotton Shorts are also made from Primegreen, a series of high-performance recycled materials and offer a great relaxed fit.
This adidas Sportswear Aeroknit Track Jacket is probably one of my favorite adidas jackets of all time! It also comes in black, but I am in LOVE with this army green color. The design and fit is absolutely killer. The sleeves have a looser fit so there’s plenty of room to move. The front material is nylon, but the back boasts a waffle polyester Aeroknit material that’s so soft and stretchy. I love that it’s lightweight enough for me to wear during my runs or when I’m warming up at the gym.
The last thing I always make sure to do on Mondays is dress for success. Even if I’m working from home (like many of us have been doing for the past year), this simple, but effective tip is so important to get my mindset into “work mode.” I’ve found that when I spend a few minutes getting ready for the day, my productivity level goes way up. I’ve been living in WFH looks for a year now and totally dig this adidas look. It screams casual, but fresh. These are the same Ultraboost 4.0 DNA shoes, but in white. What can I say? When I love something, I get it in multiple colors.
These adidas Aeroknit Snap Pants are the same nylon + knit material as my track jacket and really comfortable. They fit a bit higher on the waist and run pretty TTS. (I’m wearing a small.) To complete my look, I went for a Graphic T-Shirt. It’s a thick soft cotton material with an oversized feel. I’m wearing a small and added a front twist and cuffed sleeves to play up my look. Fun fact: Shanghai-based artist, Nini Sum, hand-drew floral illustrations on these tops which were inspired by the strong spirit of women.
Hope you guys enjoyed this post on how to crush your goals and do it with style. Tell me in the comments if you’re a Monday person or not. What tips do you have for a productive week? I’d love to know.
