PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT: Here’s my guess on her stats: Height: 34 in. | Weight: 28.5 lbs.
CLOTHING: (Same as last month) She wears 2T now and some 3T in certain brands | Shoes are size 7 | Still wearing size 4 diapers
SCHEDULE: (Same as last month)
8am: 8oz whole milk + breakfast
930am: snack (usually carbs of some sort like toast or crackers, fruit, cheese)
1130am: lunch
1230pm: naptime
3pm: 8oz milk + snack
530pm: dinner
7-830pm: bath, playtime, and read (usually in that order) + a light snack
830pm: brush teeth, change diaper, pray, and sleep
Thankfully, her sleeping schedule is back to normal now that we leave the door open for her :)
I have never given Marli peanut butter because of the high risk of allergies, but I have always wondered if she was really allergic to it…and I quickly found out 3 days ago that YUP! She is! She got a hold of the lid and had the TINIEST bit of PB on her finger which I didn’t really notice until 10 minutes later when she returned into our kitchen and her ENTIRE right cheek and eye was red! Luckily, a little Benadryl did the trick, but OMG! I’m glad it wasn’t worse (especially since I’ve heard horror stories).
LANGUAGE: She is such a chatterbox and repeats EVERYTHING we say so we have to be extra careful now ๐ She’s been saying a ton of 5-8 word phrases, but her biggest milestone this month was when she told me the story about the 3 little pigs! I think we saw the episode on Dora & Friends about it so I kept repeating it to her as a fun way to play and learn about her chin and one day during bath time, she told me the story ALL on her own! It went something like this:
“Lit’ pig lit’ pig. Let it in. Not not not chin chin chin (scratches her chin). Aw huff, puff, blowwwww houuusssee dooooown! (blows)” LOL I was seriously blown away and could not stop laughing and praising her. We later did it for my husband to see and he was so proud of her ๐ When I tried to record her, she got all shy so THIS video clip was the best I could do :)
Also, this month, she learned a lot about Santa and while singing to her, she picked up some of the words and will now say “Santa Claus is coming to toooooown!” and “Santa bring toys” hahaha
She’s also pretty shy around strangers, but if you don’t push/overwhelm her, she warms up quickly. She is still super shy around males (with the exception of my husband and dad) and will get really clingy to me if I’m around. Her demeanor with other kids is really sweet. She plays along side them and often shares her toys.
I am REALLY hoping to teach her the alphabet by the time she’s 2. We’ve been practicing a lot, reading books, listening to songs in the car, and watching Sesame Street movies about it and she loves it. We’ll keep working on socializing her, building her vocabulary, and maybe re-introduce potty training.

She is so beautiful. I could honestly look at pictures of her all day. I know she gets it from her momma;-P
Savanna loves to eat too! And size 7 shoes? Savanna is 19 months and still in size 5, I guess she has small feet. lol

She is so CUTE! I love that age…actually they’re all great, but the early toddler years are pretty special. And they can definitely be trying. I so remember those meltdowns and needing to hide in my room for a few minutes so I could prevent myself from having one, too! Merry Christmas to you and your sweet family!
