Happy Tuesday darlings! Hope you all had a great weekend. We finally took Marli in for her 18 month checkup yesterday so I updated the post HERE. Doctors visits aren’t fun anymore since she knows “stranger danger” now. The shots are the easy part…it’s the checking her vitals and everything else that’s tough. But, she did a lot better than we expected since I was able to distract her with some stamps and Dora Explorer bandaids I brought from home 🙂
Here’s an outfit I wore over the weekend. A huge _reason why I LOVE Fall so much is because of the amazing weather and how I can still wear some of my summer outfits and change up the look by simply adding a sweater/jacket. Layers are my BEST friend 🙂
If you know me, then you know I love a good mix of tomboy style + feminine touches and I love this outfit for that exact reason. It’s comfy, trendy, but still really mom-friendly (meaning I can still chase an 18-month around without exposing myself). 🙂
The tribal print utility jacket is from LAST season at Forever21 during a clearance sale and I’ve been waiting all year to wear it! Luckily, it was cool enough to wear and I loved it.
I paired it with a bodycon skirt (Target) and this ruffled-collar ivory top (French Connection) which I have had for years. I opted for my military ankle boots (DSW) since they have a thick heel and are incredibly comfortable to wear all day. Lastly, I pulled the look together with this great olive green statement necklace (which is kinda tribal-y too).

Great outfit and score on that jacket! It’s so cute! Marli must still be easier to chase than Kaitlyn. I can’t do a short skirt, especially recently she loves lifting things up and pulling things down! lol
