This is the 2nd Food Diaries I have posted since I have received a lot of emails regarding what a typical weekly meal looks like for our household. What we eat for dinner the night before, I will usually eat for lunch the next day as leftovers and so forth….or keep it light with healthy salad (posted below). If you missed my 1st Food Diaries post, HERE it is again.
Portion control is key! Eat in smaller quantities more often throughout the day. I have 3 meals and 2-3 snacks throughout the day to fuel my body. Below are links to a few recipes and as I continue to update my blog, I will provide links to the page. It’s all about convenience for me so many of my recipes are quite simple with a handful of ingredients…and I LOVE baking because it’s easy and healthier than pan frying. Hope you enjoy lovelies!

Wow so healthy. I use to eat more like this when I lived on my own on the west coast. My goal for this year is to get back to eating closer to this. I do not eat totally unhealthy but it could be healthier.

love this! i eat 3 smallish meals — and two snacks throughout the day. it keeps my blood sugar up and i tend to eat less at my large meals when i snack (usually on fruit or yogurt). love the 80/20 rule too! i go out once a week for dinner and usually only once/week for lunch. i like to be in control of what i eat! xo jillian – cornflake dreams

I am with you on all of this! We probably have 2-3 dining out meals a week since I don’t cook on the weekends, but most of them have to be healthy options…and I’ll have one splurge which is usually dessert. Sugar is my weakness.

Looks good. At home we also have been making healthier choices. It is much easier to do as a family.
