To say that I’m in love with our new bedroom is an understatement. In fact, it has become our favorite room in the house and I’m not mad about it one bit. First order of business was a fresh coat of paint. This one is called “Minimalist” (#PPU25-12) from Behr Premium Plus which you can get from Home Depot. The new color instantly made the room feel more spacious and inviting.

I made some big purchases on our bedding from The Home Depot and have been really satisfied with the quality. Our bed sheets, pillows, and down comforter are all from there. When selecting a color scheme, I wanted a modern feel without losing the cozy element.  Mixing creams with rich darker tones helped me achieve my vision. They also have such a great selection of bed frames, area rugs, and storage cabinets to fit your personal style.  Lastly, don’t forget to add your own personal touch with accent pieces. I purchased these large typography posters from Etsy and had them framed with these sturdy poster frames from Home Depot. And, I just found this ceiling chandelier I am absolutely in love with!  It’s a great mix of the industrial style and rustic look I’m going for.

I can’t wait to tackle another project in my house!  I think our master bathroom might be next or a refresh on our entryway.  Either way, I know I’m in great hands with The Home Depot.
