Family Game Night Snack Ideas

Spending quality time with our family has been a major priority for us this year. With everyone’s busy schedule, we love taking this time to unwind and reconnect as a family. We’ve done everything from movie dates to dinner outings, picnics at the park, and our recent favorite: family game night. It’s become a Friday night ritual, and I’m not complaining one bit. Here are a few easy tips that have helped us make family night fun and enjoyable, especially if you have little ones. First and foremost, good snacks are a must! These Tyson 100% Natural Fully Cooked Crispy Chicken Strips are always a hit with my girls. I’ve put them in wraps, created mini-sized chicken sandwiches, and even diced them up to throw onto salads. Yum! For last week’s family game night, I just added them to our veggie and dip tray so they could pick and choose. Sometimes, less is definitely more! It’s something to look forward to when the weekend starts, and that makes it even more fun when we play.

Another tip is picking age-appropriate games that the entire family can enjoy. Key word being entire. As a momma with a 4 year-old and almost 7-year old, this can sometimes be tricky. Easy board games and matching card games are a few of the ones my girls can both play and not get frustrated about. It’s important to reinforce having fun and not taking things too seriously.
