Spring is in full effect ya’ll! Thankfully, the rain has finally stopped (for the time being at least), but this humidity is out of control. My poor hair cannot deal! With the flooding we had last week, I’m thinking we’ve met our “April showers” quota so bring on those colorful May flowers please (and sunshine too).
Speaking of color, I really like Spring because I get to incorporate a lot of fun colors into my outfits and let’s be honest – who doesn’t love a little color in their life, right? This week, I’ve teamed up with thredUP to spruce up my wardrobe and I can’t wait to show you my picks.
If you haven’t heard of thredUP, you need to get on it now! Think of it as a well-curated online consignment store that allows you to snag like-new designer brands for up to 90% off retail. Think brands like Zara, J. Crew, BCBG, Kate Spade, Stuart Weitzman, and so much more!
While I love thrift shopping, I hate picking through the mounds and mounds of clothing and sometimes not leaving with anything, but thredUP has made it possible to shop for your specific needs. They have just about anything you could want/need for your Spring wardrobe and the best part is how much you’ll actually save shopping with them.
I am so excited I spotted this fun shift dress from The Limited on thredUP’s site. It was an absolute steal and I love the lightweight material which is perfect for Spring! Originally $90, I scooped up this dress for less than $16 (that’s over 82% off) and it’s in amazing condition. $16 ya’ll!!! (Let that sink in for a minute.)
I added a layering necklace for some bling and a slim belt to cinch in my waist for a more structured look and pulled everything together with my vest. And these shoes are an oldie, but goodie. They are no longer available, but I linked a similar one below.
While this is a dressier look for Spring for church, work, or a business meeting, you could totally go the casual route for a weekend look by losing the vest, belt, and shoes and opt for a cute pair of sandals. As a mom of two, I have to think versatility and making the most out of my outfits when buying pieces and there really are so many possibilities with this great print.
Stay tuned for another thredUP look at the end of this week.
